I tend to have a preference for nostalgia and for imagery that provokes questions: "Where does that road lead? This actually feels cold, hot, lonely, etc." With each shot I personally associate the sounds, smells, feelings, temperature, etc. Not everyone can or will connect with a photograph in this way. That is the beauty of this medium and what makes each photographer different. My only advice about photography is "Be in love with what you see." All images Copyright Bowman Gray 2018

Setting up for Christmas
We never go overboard, but I love the feeling of the house once we are done. The big question is going to be what the new dogs are going to make of the items that they have access to, namely the tree and low hanging ornaments. I am sure that some will appear to be too delicious to resist.

ha! Good luck with that! In addition to Lavender kitty generally running amok amongst both gifts and tree, we came home yesterday to find that our Lotus boy had nibbled into a carefully wrapped package of pistachios.... destined for the gift baskets that we will complete this coming weekend! : )
what would we do without them....
Your home looks beautiful! I love holiday decorations.
